A paid opportunity for high-school juniors and seniors to gain hands-on construction experience while learning how a professional contracting company operates.

Pay: $16 per hour
Schedule: Flexible
Minimum: 10 hours per week Program Capacity: 2 students per semester

Student Requirements

  • Must be a high-school junior or senior
  • Homeschooled high-school students are eligible
  • Must maintain a B average
  • Must live or attend school within approximately 15 miles of Lansing, Illinois
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

Students may participate in the same construction, labor, administrative and company-support activities performed by the Construction Assistant / Laborer, under appropriate instruction and supervision.
